$10 million development in jeopardy in Mason County

Mason County Commissioners say they need to build a new sewage plant before a ten-million-dollar development project can move forward. Developers plan to build a Jellystone Park along Route 35 that would be the largest campground and waterpark in the Northeast. The County sewage plant is at capacity, and commissioners say they are looking into state and federal aid to build a new plant.
