August 6th 1993, Alan Jackson was at #1 on the US Country charts with “Chattahoochee”, the third single from his 1992 album A Lot About Livin’ (And a Little ’bout Love). The album is named for a line in the song itself. “Chattahoochee” also received CMA awards for Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
