Hairy Caterpillar, Which Packs A Sting, Spotted In Virginia

A venomous hairy caterpillar was spotted in Virginia.

The puss caterpillar was seen in the eastern part of the state and experts are warning people to stay away.

Its so-called hairs “are actually venomous spines that cause a painful reaction if touched.”
