In 2006, HILARY SWANK and CHAD LOWE divorced after 14 years of marriage. To most people, that's a FAILED married. But not to Hilary. --She says, quote, "A lot of people look at divorce as a failure. I really look at my relationship with Chad as 14 years of success. I will carry him in my heart forever. He's a part of me."

 

When we last left BRETT FAVRE, it looked like he had finally decided to hang it up once and for all. Now it looks like he'll be quarterbacking the Vikings for one more season. --It's still not official yet, but the NFL Network and Fox Sports say it's happening. --The NFL Network is reporting that the team sent three players . . . Steve Hutchinson, Jared Allen and Ryan Longwell . . . to Brett's home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi yesterday to coax him back, and it worked. --Fox Sports says Brett took a flight to Minnesota later in the day to join the team. --Brett has already missed the Vikings' training camp. If he is indeed playing this season, he has about three weeks to get ready. The Vikings open the season against the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints on September 9th.

 

 

The paternity suit filed by mattress actress DEVON JAMES against TIGER WOODS was dismissed yesterday . . . in part because Devon was a no-show at a hearing. --Devon claims that Tiger is the father of her 9-year-old son. But even Devon's mother . . . who has custody of the boy . . . says she's LYING.

 

 

I don't know about you, but I've always figured that if a relationship is going to make you attempt SUICIDE, it's probably the kind of relationship you should avoid. FANTASIA BARRINO and I obviously don't think alike. --So-called "sources" say that Fantasia is back together with Antwaun Cook . . . the man whose marriage she's being accused of wrecking. And they're thinking about getting married themselves. --One source says, quote, "They want the divorce pushed through as soon as possible and Fantasia is determined to marry him and she wants to start a family with him too."

 

 

Here's a FEEL GOOD note for your Wednesday morning. SHERRI SHEPHERD . . . who's arguably the dimmest yenta on "The View" . . . is making $855 an hour. --According to some paperwork she filed as part of her ongoing divorce proceedings, Sherri makes $54,767-a-month . . . and she only works 16 hours per week.

 

 

Radaronline says that Octomom Nadya Suleman has written an autobiography about her life as a mother of 14 and the media frenzy that surrounded her after giving birth to eight babies. But if anyone's interested in reading it, they'll have a long wait. According to sources, no one wants to publish the book. One source says, qutoe, "She has been talking with publishers but is not nearing a deal. She is holding out…she feels like her personal story is worth a lot more than anyone is even interested in paying."

The paparazzi caught up with KELSEY GRAMMER and his pregnant girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, the other day in New York City. --And Kelsey admitted that he'd be willing to marry Kayte . . . but, quote, "I've got some other stuff I've got to clear up first." --That other stuff, obviously, is Kelsey's divorce from his wife Camille. --The "New York Post" reports that Camille could walk away from the relationship with some SERIOUS money . . . because she owns half of his company, Grammnet Productions. --That means she gets a chunk of all that money that "Frasier" has made in syndication . . . and that's a ton. Plus, Grammnet produced other shows, like "Medium" and "Girlfriends". --When it's all said and done, Camille's take could be well over $30 million.

 

 

HILARY DUFF and hockey player MIKE COMRIE got married Saturday in Santa Barbara, California. --Hilary's sister HAILEY was the maid of honor. --They spent their wedding night at the San Ysidro Ranch.  --Hilary and Mike started dating in 2007, when they met while SEPARATELY visiting a resort in Idaho. Mike proposed this past February by slipping a $1 million ring on her finger.

 

 

Things are not looking good for 93-year-old ZSA ZSA GABOR. Her publicist says she's in, quote, "extremely serious condition", and even asked for a priest to deliver her last rites over the weekend. --Zsa Zsa was hospitalized after she fell out of bed and broke her hip on July 17th. She was released on Thursday, then re-admitted Friday afternoon to have two blood clots removed. One of them was very close to her heart.

 

 

FANTASIA BARRINO met up with her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook, at a park near her home in North Carolina on Friday. --We don't know what they said, but we will eventually. Because a film crew from her VH1 reality show, "Fantasia For Real", was there to capture the moment.

 

Lindsay Lohan's delusional mom Dina was on the Today Show Friday, spouting a whole bunch of nonsense about her daughter's recent troubles. For one, Dina insisted that Lindsay was "doing wonderfully," and claims her daughter will move to New York once she finishes rehab in California. Dina also refused to blame Lindsay (or herself) for the actress' drug problems and jail stint, insisting that Lindsay was only behind bars because her judge "playing hardball".  (Dina pretty much blamed Judge Marsha Revel for everything, mentioning her removal from the case over and over again.)  She said, quote, "She's been through a lot…Lindsay was in with alleged murderers and she's become friends with a lot of them. Lindsay rolled with the punches." --When host Matt Lauer mentioned that lots of people feel that Lindsay got what was coming to her, Dina blamed the press for that perception. She said, quote, "I think that's all propaganda and what people are reading. I think a lot of it is pre-orchestrated and you're reading things that are not there." –When asked whether Lindsay's problems stem from the people she surrounds herself with, including her parents, Dina replied, quote, "As a parent, you have to let her go a little bit…They're gonna do what they're gonna do when they turn 18, 19... And you kind of lose a little power and control, which you want to do for your child. You want to let them go. Without failure, there's no success." – And the most heated exchange came over the issue of Lindsay's rehab. Dina at first insisted Lindsay has only been to rehab two times, while Lauer said it was four. After repeatedly claiming Lauer's info was incorrect, they brought Dina back out for a second segment where they specifically went over each stay. A clearly perturbed Dina finally gave in, but then repeated the excuses she made earlier in the interview. As for what the future holds for Lindsay, Dina hilariously explained, quote, "I think we're gonna be OK. Lindsay, right now, is focusing on charity and saving the next victim of the tabloids."
