KATY PERRY says that RUSSELL BRAND announced that he was divorcing her in a TEXT MESSAGE. --In the July issue of "Vogue" magazine . . . Katy says, quote, "[Russell is] a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him. Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me on December 31st of 2011." Meanwhile, Katy hints that there's also a MYSTERY REASON that Russell dumped her . . . and she knows what it is . . . but she isn't talking.
KIM KARDASHIAN hasn't revealed her daughter's name yet, assuming she's decided on one. But rumor has it she's been named: Kaidence Donda West. That would make sense . . . because we've heard the first name would probably start with a "K", and the second name might be "Donda" after KANYE WEST'S late mother. –But again, just a rumor.
MILEY CYRUS is hinting that she DOES smoke weed, but she doesn't think that should be a big deal. She says, quote, "I think alcohol is WAY more dangerous than marijuana . . . I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed." She also denies that she's singing about ECSTASY in her single "We Can't Stop". One last thing: Miley was asked about the status of her relationship with LIAM HEMSWORTH . . . but all she would say was, quote, "I wear a ring every single day. I don't talk about my personal life, so that's enough of an answer."
JUSTIN BIEBER had a run-in with a paparazzi photographer Monday night. And by run-in, I mean he nailed him with his CAR while he was leaving the Laugh Factory in Hollywood. In a video you can clearly see Justin's white Ferrari sideswipe the guy. Then the guy lies on the ground . . . milking it . . . and eventually some other paparazzi scumbags pick him up, and carry him to the curb. The guy wasn't seriously hurt. And according to the police, Justin won't face charges, because they say it was the photographer's fault for standing in the middle of the road.
