SHAQUILLE O'NEAL'S wife Shaunie filed for legal separation on Monday . . . and sources say she plans to file for divorce. --Check this out, though . . . Shaq, Shaunie and their four kids all lived in Florida. But a few days ago, she pulled the kids out of school and took them to Los Angeles with her. --In her petition for separation, Shaunie says she's been an L.A. resident as of November 8th. --Why would she go through the trouble??? Supposedly, it's because community property laws would be more favorable to her in California. But there's a prenup in place, so it's not clear how much the move will help. --Shaunie is asking for spousal and child support . . . but she didn't say how much of either she wants. --Shaq and Shaunie have been married for almost seven years. Their four kids are all between the ages of 3 and 9.

 

 

JESSICA SIMPSON apparently has no hard feelings over being dumped by TONY ROMO. She's still a Cowboys fan. --After the Cowboys beat the Eagles 20 to 16 Sunday night, she tweeted, quote, "My pink jersey was nowhere in sight. ;) I was screaming in my parents' TV in Dallas gear, though." --Then she added, quote, "'Tougher Than the Rest' YAY 9." --"9" refers to Romo's uniform number.

 

Back in August, CELINE DION announced that she was pregnant with her second child. But now, there's word going around that she may have lost the baby. -- "In Touch Weekly" says that Celine is, quote, "not currently expecting." This came, not surprisingly, from an unidentified "source close to the family." They didn't give any other details.

 

 

NBA legend KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR is battling a form of cancer called chronic myeloid leukemia. He was actually diagnosed a year ago, but didn't disclose it until yesterday. --Kareem . . . who's 62 . . . said, quote, "Having lost one of my closest friends to a different, highly aggressive form of leukemia, I knew how serious my diagnosis was. My own life expectancy became a question mark." --He added, quote, "When the doctor told me I had cancer, I was scared. My grandfather and my uncle both died from colorectal cancer, my dad almost died from it and I have the gene for it. It's in my family, so I thought this was something else along those lines, but it's not." --Kareem says that with treatment, he's expected to live a full, active life.

 

Hopefully, this is the last time we'll feel the need to talk about MICHAEL JACKSON'S funeral. --Yesterday, the financial details of the funeral were released . . . and the whole shindig cost over $1 million. --The bill from Forest Lawn Cemetery came to almost $856,000. That included the entombing, which was $590,000. --Michael's casket cost $25,000 . . . the suit he was buried in was $35,000 . . . and $175,000 was spent on security.

 

MICHAEL LOHAN released another one of his secretly-recorded phone calls yesterday. This one features DINA LOHAN revealing that LINDSAY was dating HEATH LEDGER when he died. --Dina says, quote, "She was dating Heath when he died. I don't know if you know that, but I know 'cause I would drop her off and they were friends. Very, very close, okay?" --Later, she added that she was worried Heath's death would affect Lindsay and that, quote, "when she's drunk, or takes an Adderall with it, she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second, without thinking." --And now . . . here's Dina's response to this latest audio leak . . . quote, "The tapes were from a long time ago, and for a father to stoop this low is unforgivable. --My ex-husband has been in and out of jail for 10 years. My children and I gave him a chance to get to know them again, and he clearly blew that chance! --My heart is breaking for my children that he could do this. He has no visitation anymore and is six months behind in child support. The authorities have been alerted!"
