In the December issue of "O" magazine, ELLEN DEGENERES predicts that she and PORTIA DE ROSSI will partners for life. --She says, quote, "She is so beautiful and so smart and so funny. I have that sense of 'I'm done now. I'm settled.' I know that part of my life is taken care of. I've got love. I've got someone who will be with me till the day I die." --Meanwhile, Ellen and Portia were on "Oprah" yesterday . . . and Portia revealed how she found it impossible to resist Ellen's STONE-COLD HOTNESS. --She first fell for Ellen when she was on the show "Ally McBeal". But she couldn't do anything about it for another THREE YEARS, because she was still in the closet. --She said, quote, "Over those three years, we saw each other at parties or various things, but the one time that was the most significant was at a photo shoot. --I just walked over to say hello to her and I couldn't believe it, but she turned around and it was like an arrow was shot through my heart. I was weak at the knees and I was overwhelmed with how I felt. But then it took me about 10 months to get the courage up to do something about it."

 

It looks like JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and JESSICA BIEL are still together. On Sunday night, they hit a JAY-Z concert at UCLA. A "witness" says, quote, "He literally held her the entire concert. They were dancing together and singing along to every song."

 

"People"magazine says that JANET JACKSON and JERMAINE DUPRI are still together. In fact, they may not have ever split in the first place. --A "source" says, quote, "They never really broke up. Jermaine wanted to give her some space when Michael died."

 

ARESENIO HALL is denying that he's dating PAULA ABDUL again. But he did admit that the two are hanging out. He says, quote, "We are friends for life, and we love hanging out and laughing together, but we are not involved romantically."

 

Even though she's almost 16 years older than her husband, DEMI MOORE does NOT like being called a cougar. She says, quote, "I'm certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl. --I don't know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, 'There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?' . . . I'd prefer to be called a Puma."

 

LEVI JOHNSTON is going to sue for joint custody of his son Tripp . . . (--a.k.a. Sarah Palin's grandson) . . . because he feels the Palin family is making it too difficult for him to see the boy. --He says, quote, "It's not working. I'm done. It's going to have to go to court. They just finally pushed me over the edge." (--Levi, by the way, is in New York City as we speak, gearing up for his big Playgirl shoot.)
