Two Arrested After Police Chase

Two people are behind bars after leading West Virginia State Police on a high-speed car chase Tuesday afternoon. Court documents allege Glen Carpenter led troopers on a chase reaching speeds more than 100 miles per hour. It started on Sissonville Drive outside of Charleston. Police arrested Carpenter in Nitro after they say he ran after ditching his car and passenger. Carpenter's charges include fleeing in a vehicle, fleeing on foot and driving with a revoked license due to two previous DUI convictions. Carpenter’s passenger Christa Collier also was arrested.
