Mental Health Conference Planned for Charleston
Behavioral health professionals across West Virginia will gather in Charleston next month to share their best practices and form partnerships. The Integrated Behavioral Health Conference is scheduled for Sept. 17-19 at the Charleston Civic Center. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin says it will be the state's first such conference. The conference will offer nearly 100 sessions on topics including drug diversion, integration and collaborative care, inclusion, evidence-based programs and practices, stigma reduction and behavioral health awareness.
