Charleston Police Investigate Separate Monday Night Robberies

Charleston police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver and a woman in a vehicle were robbed Monday night. Charleston police said in one of the robberies a Pizza Hut delivery driver had just made a delivery and stopped at the intersection of Watts Street and Crescent Road to look up his next stop on a map when a man approached, demanded money and took the delivery driver’s wallet. The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds and has tattoos on his arms. In another robbery the same night, a woman told officers she was stopped in a vehicle at the intersection of Lewis and Shrewsbury when a man came up and demanded money. That suspect is a black male and about 5 feet 9 inches tall. Anyone with information should call Charleston police.
