Boating Hit and Run Investigated

It's a rare hit and didn't involve cars, but boats. A boat crashed into another boat on the Kanawha River Friday night and then took off. It happened near the Dunbar Toll Bridge, and the passengers in the boat that was hit told police there was severe damage to their boat, which was a 27-foot Sea Ray. Officers from the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources are investigating the crash, and remind us that state law says boaters have 48 hours to report an accident. One passenger was hurt in the crash, and charges will likely be filed once police discover who was driving the other boat.
