New Governor's Portarit to be Unveiled

A governor's portrait of U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin will be unveiled this week at the state Capitol. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin will host the unveiling of the portrait at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Charleston. The portrait was painted by artist Larry Bruce Bishop, and once it's unveiled it will go up in the Governor's Reception Room. Manchin served as governor from 2005 to 2010 before being elected to the U.S. Senate following the death of Robert C. Byrd.
