Public has the chance to remember Kanawha County Grad with Nature Trail
A nature trail has been dedicated to a former George Washington High School graduate. Willy Shuman died in a fatal car crash three years ago, just a few days before he was scheduled to leave for the US Air Force Academy. Family, friends, and classmates gathered at George Washington High School recently to dedicate the "Wear A Seatbelt Nature Trail " to Willy Shuman. The nature trail is right behind the school, and the public is encouraged to walk the trail and celebrate Shuman's life in the process. It's open anytime and it's free.
