West Virginians to get foreclosure information in the mail

Foreclosure hlep is on its way to thousands of West Virginia homeowners. Mailers went out this week to over five thousand homeowners who may be eligible for payment under the $25 billion national mortgage foreclosure settlement. Eligible borrowers include those who lost their homes to foreclosure between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2011 to one of the nation's five largest mortgage servicers: Ally/GMAC, Bank of America, Citi, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo. The exact payment will depend upon the total number of borrowers who decide to participate. The deadline for all claims is January 18, 2013 and payments would go out in mid 2013.
