Fire leads to drug charges in St. Albans

A fire in St. Albans has left two people facing charges. The fire broke out Tuesday at a home in the 400 block of Washington Street, and police who were part of the response found items used to make methamphetamine. 38-year old Joseph Miller, and 40-year old Sherry Burdette were arrested and charged with operating a clandestine drug lab. Officials say more charges could come because there were children in the home at the time of the fire.
