Convenience Store shooting likely domestic violence-related

A shooting at a Charleston 7-11 store over the weekend has police investigating. The woman who was shot had a domestic violence petition filed against her attacker, but it hadn't been served because the man was spending time at a psychiatric hospital. The shooting happened around 4am Saturday on the West Side, at 1300 Bigley Avenue. 41-year old Joyce Good of South Charleston had a gunshot wound to the arm. 45-year old Larry Boner of St. Albans was found behind the store, with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Good is expected to be okay. A hearing date regarding the domestic violence petition had been set for mid July.
